ISLAND BEEHIVE
Kangaroo Island is the home to the world's only pure strain of Ligurian bee. KI is a bee sanctuary and it is illegal to bring any honey products on to the Island. Island Beehive was opened in December 2005. The Beehive offers guided tours, a range of organic honey, gifts, local art and craft. You'll even see the queen!

EUCALYPTUS DISTILLERY
The "Emu Ridge" Distillery was established by F.H. Faulding in 1923 in recognition of KI's high concentration of the naturally occurring oil-producing tree "Eucalyptus cneorifolia". The still was revitalised in 1991 and with regular production each week, using century-old methods, oil is distributed throughout Australia.

ISLAND PURE SHEEP DAIRY
The dairy opened its doors to the public in September 1995 and offers you a first-hand glimpse of the making of sheep dairy products from the milking to the tasting. You can view the milking through large viewing windows and the tour includes a tasting session, where you can sample a variety of cheeses and yoghurts. Bon appetit!

BAY OF SHOALS WINES
Their small vineyard overlooks the Bay of Shoals and Reeves Point just north of Kingscote. Here you can taste their range of local wines. A relaxing and enjoyable experience with great views.
