PLANNING YOUR VISIT TO KANGAROO ISLAND This section of our web site is intended assist you in planning your visit. It has 5 pages: a map showing the distances and approximate travel times from Kingscote to various places on the Island you may want to visit some of the things you might like to do during your stay on the Island that require bookings some useful tips on how to prepare yourself for your visit: KI is not quite like the rest of Australia - it pays to be prepared! Because you may wish to print out these pages, they contain only text, no illustrations. To compensate this section has 2 pages dedicated to photographic material: a slideshow of many of the animals you are likely to meet on KI; a slideshow of photographs I have made of some aspects of the Remarkable Rocks which have intrigued me.
