ROCKY RIVER is the entrance the Flinders Chase National park. Established in 1919, it is the island's only National Park and covers 10% of its surface area. The Park's HQ is a newly established complex which incorporates an Interpretative Centre and an al-fresco cafe.

ADMIRALS ARCH Cape du Couedic is the southwest extremity of Kangaroo Island. Seen from the Cape, Admirals Arch is a spectacular limestone cave framing spray-drenched rock slabs and sea. New Zealand fur seals can been seen basking on the rock slabs close to the Arch.

REMARKABLE ROCKS is a geographical oddity, attracting visitors from all
over the world. Their cavernous shell-like appearance is a result of rock being dissolved through water collecting in cracks and on surfaces. The microscopic roots of the orange-coloured lichen enhance the weathering.

HANSON BAY SANCTUARY gives you an opportunity to view koalas in their natural habitat at relatively close range. It's generally thought to be the best place to see koalas on KI.

SEAL BAY is a large sandy beach and dune area where Australian sea lions rest and nurse their young. On the beach you can take a guided stroll amongst sea lions basking on the sand and watch them as they play and surf - a fabulous wildlife experience.
